Scope and applications

Cable infrastructure determines routing, mechanical protection and access to conductors throughout an installation's life. This direction combines flexible and rigid conduits, covered trunking, trays and ladders, supports and fixing systems. Solutions differ in installation method, ability to accept additional cables and response to mechanical and environmental exposure. Supporting structures are designed with the route, considering weight, support spacing and transitions through the building.

Products in this category

Flexicon covers conduit systems, OBO trunking and cable-support solutions, nVent CADDY fastening and suspension, and Gewiss underground access chambers. Lower levels separate route construction from anchoring and seismic restraint. Maintaining bend radii and separating different circuits are part of the installation layout.

Product families

OBO SKS-Magic

Perforated cable trays with longitudinal sides and system connections. Width, side height, finish and support spacing are selected for the route loading.

Flexicon FPAS / FPAL / FPAH

Corrugated polyamide conduits offering different mechanical performance and flexibility. Conduit and fittings are selected as a compatible system for the intended route.

OBO WDK / LKM

WDK is covered installation trunking; LKM is the metal system for routes with greater mechanical demands. Fittings provide changes in direction and branches.

nVent CADDY direct fastening

Metal clips, brackets and holders attach cable pathways to the structure. Suitable fastening depends on the substrate, installation method and load.
